SUMMARY:Waffle Pitch: Fra student til fulltidsaktivist
DESCRIPTION:Liker du vafler og nye ideer? Eller vil du dele en utfordring du har i prosjektet ditt/virksomheten din med noen andre og få tips og råd? Hver fredag inviterer Impact Hub Bergen til lunsj og vafler der medlemmer på Huben og andre gründere kan pitche ideer/utfordringer fra sin virksomhet. \n\n(Bildet er tatt av: Gidske Lilleengen) \nI forbindelse med Klimafestivalen § 112 (11.01.-02.02.) er vaflene selvsagt veganske og dagens pitch er holdt av miljøaktivistene Amalia-Louise Miniggio og Inger-Johanne Jørstad med tema «Fra student til fulltidsaktivist». \nInger-Johanne og Amalia-Louise jobber fulltid for klima og bærekraft. Gjennom sosiale medier deler de fra hverdagen sin og sprer kunnskap om en av vår tids viktigste saker. De ønsker å inspirere flere til å engasjere seg for jordkloden og de som bor her. \nGjennom youtube og instagram deler Inger-Johanne plantebaserte måltider\, dyrevennlige produkter og tips til en mer bærekraftig hverdag. I 2015 valgte Inger-Johanne å endre kostholdet sitt for å leve mer klimavennlig\, men det tok noen år før hun virkelig så verdien av egne handlinger. I 2019 ble hun med i organisasjonen World Saving Hustle\, og det tok ikke lang tid før hun bestemte seg for å bli aktivist på fulltid. \nI 2017 startet Amalia prosjektet Amalia plukker opp hvor hun reiste rundt i Norge i 70 dager og plukket søppel hver dag. Dette gjorde hun for å skape mer oppmerksomhet og engasjement rundt plastproblematikken i havet og naturen. Amalia trodde hun hadde tatt et «friår» fra studier og «vanlig hverdag»\, men nå har hun bestemt seg for å jobbe med plast- og miljøproblematikken på fulltid.

SUMMARY:Klimaskog – skaper det flere problemer enn det løser?

Eller vil du dele en utfordring du har i prosjektet ditt/virksomheten din med noen andre og få tips og råd?  \n \nHver fredag inviterer Impact Hub Bergen til lunsj og vafler der medlemmer på Huben og andre gründere kan pitche ideer/utfordringer fra sin virksomhet. \nI forbindelse med Klimafestivalen § 112 (11.01.-02.02.) er vaflene selvsagt veganske og dagens pitch er holdt av våre medlemmer Miljøfaglig Utredning. Konservasjonsbiolog Kirstin Flynn Steinsvåg presenterer tema «Klimaskog – skaper det flere problemer enn det løser?» \nTrær tar opp CO2 fra luften og dermed kan planting av skog være et viktig tiltak for å bekjempe klimakrisen. Men er det likegyldig hvilke treslag som plantes? Og hvor trær plantes? Hva skjer hvis klimaskogen fortrenger andre arter og naturtyper? Kan vi egentlig løse klimakrisen og biomangfoldkrisen samtidig? \nI 2019 publiserte IPBES en rapport om tilstanden til verdens biologiske mangfold. Det var ingen gladmelding. Verden står overfor to svært alvorlige problemer: 1) katastrofale klimaendringer og 2) kollaps av verdens økosystemer. Klimakrisen får nå mye oppmerksomhet\, men skal kloden vår være mulig å leve på i fremtiden må vi klare å ha mange problemer i hodet samtidig.

DESCRIPTION:WOULD YOU LIKE SOME TEA? \nKlimafestivalen § 112 – Bergen welcomes you to a 3-day workshop to share and develop your Toolbox for Environmental Action (TEA). \n\nLocation: Impact Hub Bergen\nDates: 17th – 19th January 2020\nTime: 9:30 – 18:00 everyday \nWhether you are a concerned citizen or an engaged activist\, \nWhether you are a young student or have a few years of work experience behind you\, \nWhether you are Norwegian or an expatriate\, \nThis workshop is for YOU! \nDuring this weekend\, you will have a chance to meet like-minded impact seekers and find out what MORE you can do from an individual level to an organizational and societal level. \nThis workshop will be lead by three International Certified Trainers who have solid experience with social change processes and with management of organizations:\n– Alexander Vaniev (Russia)\n– Pablo Laboreo (Spain)\n– Soukaina Legdani (France) \nA detailed schedule will be published shortly.\nThe 21 hours workshop will include:\n– 15 hours of trainings\n– 6 hours of practice & reflection \n* Price: Free\n** Language: English\n*** Free lunch will be provided for participants who sign-up for a full day. \nWe accept a maximum of 25 participants per session.
